Many city of Frisco offices will close for Christmas Eve and Day and New Year's Day.

City of Frisco offices, Frisco Municipal Court, Frisco Fire Safety Town and the Central Fire Administrative Office will close Dec. 24 and 25. These offices will reopen Dec. 26, according to a city press release.

The same offices will be closed Jan. 1.

Here are other city departments experiencing closings for the holidays:

Frisco Public Library: closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25; closes again Jan. 1; the drive-thru book drop will remain open; the library will close early at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31


Frisco Heritage Center: closed Dec. 24 and 25; closes again Jan. 1

Frisco Discovery Center: closed Dec. 24 and 25; closes again Jan. 1; open Dec. 31 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for Sci-Tech event, but other exhibits will be closed

Frisco Athletic Center: closed Dec. 24 and 25; closes again Jan. 1; open Dec. 31 from 5 a.m.-8 p.m.
