From celebrating Independence Day to National Ice Cream Day, here are 10 events to check out in Frisco this June and July.

Frisco RoughRiders Military Appreciation Night

Watch the Frisco RoughRiders take on the Tulsa Drillers with a fireworks show after the game. Veterans can receive a Challenge Coin Giveaway presented by USAA.Music in the Square

The free concert series is a family-friendly event that features local artists. The event takes place in Simpson Plaza. Parking is available in Frisco Square’s public parking garages and lot. June’s last show will feature Mixtape who performs a wide variety of genres including rock, pop, R&B, hip-hop and dance music.July

Party in the U.S.A. 5K


Celebrate Independence Day with a 5K run at Kaleidoscope Park. All participants will receive a commemorative shirt, finisher medal and chip timing. Race registration supports the Play Fund, which provides need-based grants to Frisco residents for classes, camps and recreation center memberships.Frisco Freedom Fest 2025

Celebrate the Fourth of July with live music, a car show, kids activities and a 20-minute fireworks show. Frisco Freedom Fest is hosted by the city of Frisco, FC Dallas and CoServ. This is a family-oriented event. No alcohol is allowed and dogs are recommended to stay home. Shuttle transportation is available to the event. Experience a fireworks show at Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa. The event will feature live music, food, carnival games and a drone and fireworks show. Lawn chairs, pets, outside food and beverages, coolers, sparklers and sporting equipment are not allowed.Kaleidoscope Live

Kaleidoscope Park hosts a concert series every first Saturday of the month on the performance lawn. July’s concert will be Counterfeit Radio, a six-piece cover band from Allen who plays dance, R&B, pop, rock and country music. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to the family-friendly event.Tattoo Collectors Expo


Attend a showcase of renowned tattoo artists, live entertainment, vendors and interactive experiences. The expo will feature more than 450 tattoo artists who will put their skills and talents on display.Touch-A-Truck

Explore all types of vehicles with hands-on interaction at the Touch-A-Truck event hosted by Play Frisco. This includes city trucks, school buses and more.Shameless: A Tribute to Garth Brooks Concert

Enjoy as the sound of Garth Brooks is brought to Frisco’s PGA District. No tickets are required. Outside food, drinks and lawn chairs are not permitted. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leash at all times.National Ice Cream Day

Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at Omni PGA’s Margaret’s Cones & Cups. Guests will receive 25% off a single scoop of their choice. A coloring station will be set up for kids to design their own ice cream cone.
