Since awardings its first scholarships to the Frisco ISD class of 2000, the Frisco Education Foundation has spent the last 25 years awarding student scholarships and teacher grants within the district.

“We are here to support all our FISD students and teachers,” said Ashley Sine, director of the education foundation, during an FISD podcast.

About the foundation

FEF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works in partnership with FISD and the local community to provide educational opportunities and other benefits for students and teachers. The foundation was established in 1999 and has awarded college scholarships to over 10,000 FISD seniors.

The foundation also supports FISD through Grants for Great Ideas, which are given to educators who need funds to enhance their teaching. FEF also supports the Frisco ISD Business Incubator Program, where students can learn about starting businesses and apply for pitch money.
