Get ready for a spooky season coffee crawl, music from a live orchestra and other festivities this weekend.

Oct. 10 | Plano International Festival

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Legacy West with music, dances, crafts, and a special drink from Columbia. Representa Foundation will showcase cumbia dance and visitors can try aguapanela, a sugarcane juice popular in Columbia and across Latin America.

Oct. 11-13 | Oktoberfest

This three-day festival hosted by Southlake’s chamber of commerce consists of a weiner dog race and costume contest, a video game competition, music, food and other performances.


Oct. 12 | Celebrate Roanoke

Join the festivities in Historic Downtown Roanoke featuring a live rodeo, children’s activities and Western entertainment. Grammy Award-nominee Pat Green will be performing on the main stage at Roanoke City Hall.

Oct. 12 | Concerts in the Park

Visit Doubletree Ranch Park for the 80s Gadget covering songs from the 1980s. The park will have food truck vendors.


Oct. 12 | Creepy Coffee Crawl

Put on a most creative costume and haunt historic downtown McKinney for a coffee quest. Visit five distinct coffee experiences and receive two pastries and a coffee cocktail.

Oct. 12 | Celebra Grapevine

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Peace Plaza in Grapevine Main Station. The event will feature an art gallery, traditional Latin American cuisine, live music and dance performances. A Selena look-alike contest will also be held with a visit from her cousin to present $500 to the winner.


Oct. 13 | Dance Around The World

Presented by the Coppell Community Orchestra, this vibrant concert celebrates the diversity of global dance in music. The orchestra will take the audience on a musical journey with composers such as Arturo Marquez, Johannes Brahms, Alexander Borodin and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
