Major League Baseball will stage its All-Star Game and festivities around the 94th annual event in Arlington, Dallas and Fort Worth.

Events start on July 12 and run through the All-Star Game on July 16, held at Globe Life Field in Arlington. This is the second time the All-Star Game has been held in Arlington, the first was in 1995. Arlington officials will be changing direction of travel to help with traffic flow before and after events.

The iconic horses from Budweiser will make the trip from St. Louis to Fort Worth. The horses will make their way down Exchange Avenue following the 11:30 a.m. cattle drive and will stay for photo opportunities.Capital One All-Star Village

A baseball theme park will offer a chance to see the World Series trophy, participate in games and player interactive games. Former MLB stars Buddy Bell, Adrian Beltre, Mike Cameron, Steve Buechele, Vinny Castilla, Bartolo Colon, Nelson Cruz, Andrew Dawson, Rollie Fingers, Benji Gil, Vladimir Guerrero Sr., Josh Hamilton, Fergie Jenkins, Ian Kinsler, Fred Lynn, Kevin Mench, Mitch Moreland, Al Oliver, Rafael Palmeiro, Tim Raines, Ivan Rodriguez, Jeff Russell, Jim Sundberg, Mark Teixiera, Miguel Tejada, Mickey Tettleton, Dave Valle, Bump Willis, Dave Winfield and Michael Young are all expected to be in attendance.MLB All-Star Sunday in the Stockyards

The 25th annual Futures Game pits the top prospects in the American League vs. the National League. Winston Santos and Emiliano Teodo, both with the Frisco Roughriders, and Sebastian Walcott, with the Hickory Crawdads, will represent the Texas Rangers. The opening night of the MLB First-Year Player Draft will commence at 6 p.m. and will be televised on MLB Network. Grapevine’s Dasan Hill is projected to be a top 60 pick at the eventAll-Star Celebrity Softball Game

The event features some of the biggest names in entertainment and pop culture, as well as some of MLB’s well-known legends. Notable names this year include: Kane Brown, Terrell Owens, Dez Bryant, Bobby Bones, Jennie Finch and Pedro Martinez.T-Mobile Home Run Derby

Eight players will compete to be the next home run derby champion. The players are: Teoscar Hernandez [Dodgers], Adolis Garcia [Rangers], Gunnar Henderson [Orioles], Jose Ramirez [Guardians], Pete Alonso [Mets], Alec Bohm [Phillies], Bobby Witt Jr. [Royals] and Marcell Ozuna [Braves]. The marquee event for baseball pits the best players from the American League vs. the National League in what is called the Midsummer Classic. The game will feature two local players in Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals, who attended Colleyville Heritage High School and David Fry of the Cleveland Guardians, who attended Grapevine High School.
