Republican incumbent Ryan Williams won the race for Denton County Commissioner Precinct 1 over Democrat Tommy Bedford. Williams earned 58.63% of the vote, or 68,158 votes. Bedford gathered 48,101 votes.
Republican incumbent Richard Bachus won the Denton County constable Precinct 6 race over Democrat Ransom Funches with 50.92% of the vote, or 26,460 votes. Funches received 25,505 votes.
In early voting, there were 381,991 ballots cast countywide, which represents 57.76% of Denton County's 666,074 registered voters. Denton County saw 449,721—68% voter turnout—ballots cast with all precincts reporting.
