Frisco ISD’s teachers and other learning staff will be given $250 to help pay for learning supplies in the 2025-26 school year.

The district’s board of trustees approved the stipend during an Aug. 18 board meeting. A portion of the district’s general fund balance will be used for the payments, according to the board's resolution.

“At one point in time we wondered if we would be able to continue [the stipends], so I am grateful we have the opportunity to extend those to our teachers again this year,” said Dynette Davis, vice president of FISD’s board of trustees.
