Find Your Future: Texas Colleges and Universities Night will connect juniors and seniors with Texas public and private colleges. The Texas college night will be held Sept. 12 from 6-8 p.m at Independence High School.
FISD will host another college night this month with out-of-state and surrounding state colleges and universities. This event will be held Sept. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Reedy High School.
Families will be able to learn about admissions, financial aid, scholarships and the different majors and degrees at the college nights.
One more thing
A Financial Aid 101 event will be held to help increase students and families knowledge of the federal and state financial aid system. Families can learn about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid—commonly referred to as the FAFSA—that students will need to fill out to get financial aid from the federal government.
Information about the Texas Application for State Financial Aid and other scholarships will also be provided.
The financial aid event will take place at University of North Texas at Frisco from 6-8 p.m. Families can register here.
