Collin College is set to expand its athletic offerings over the next two years, according to a news release from the school.

In a nutshell

Over the next two years, the college will add esports, golf and volleyball programs. Esports and men’s and women’s golf are set to start next school year, with women’s volleyball set to follow in 2025-16.

The addition of the new programs was approved by the National Junior College Athletic Association, according to the release.

“This expansion not only enhances our competitive landscape, it also enriches the collegiate experience for our student athletes,” said Albert Tezeno, Collin College athletic director and vice president of student and enrollment services, in the release.


Students at the school currently competes in men’s and women’s basketball and tennis.
