Current students of Frisco ISD will be able to request a campus transfer for the 2024-25 school year starting Jan. 18.

The student intradistrict transfer window for elementary and middle school students will be open until Feb. 7, according to a district newsletter. High school students are generally not permitted to transfer campuses, according to the district’s website.

Another transfer window will be open from June 28 to July 22.

The details

To submit a transfer request, a student must be registered with Frisco ISD, and a parent or guardian must have created a Gateway ID. Transfer approvals for K-8 students are for a one-year period, and transfers must be submitted annually.

While each transfer application will be reviewed on an individual basis, the district’s guidelines will be used for consistency, the district’s website states. The complete list of administrative guidelines for transfer requests can be found here.
