Collin College is hosting its annual breakfast event to honor Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 13.

The details

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Power Leadership Breakfast will include presentations and student performances “sharing Dr. King’s message,” according to a news release from Collin College.

The free event is open to the community and will be held in the Living Legends Conference Center at the school’s Plano Campus, located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano.

This year’s theme is “I can. You can. We can. Live the dream together,” according to the release.


For those that cannot attend, Collin College will have a livestream of the event on its Facebook page.

What else

Following the breakfast, Collin College is hosting a business and information expo with local vendors and nonprofit organizations.
