In total, Collin College will pay a maximum guaranteed price of $14,195,696 in bond funds on a new kitchen addition at Alumni Hall, according to college documents. Also included in that dollar amount are building renovations and exterior improvements at Alumni Hall, Founders Hall, Lawler Hall and Heritage Hall.
This round of work will follow a new fire lane adjacent to Alumni Hall, which Collin College projects to be completed by July. The new fire lane is needed by Frisco city code to allow fire truck access within a 150-foot distance from any portion of Alumni Hall.
The fire lane must be completed before the infrastructural work can begin, documents indicate.
Substantial completion of the kitchen and renovations at the Frisco campus is projected for March 2022.
