At an Oct. 13 meeting, the commission approved open space and preliminary site plans for Creekside at Wade Office Park.
The project is expected to include multiple commercial and medical office buildings over 6.3 acres on the northeast corner of Emerald Court and Wade Boulevard, according to city documents.
A request to rezone 11.1 acres on the south side of US 380 and east of Hollyhock Road from agricultural to office was approved at the meeting as well.
Owners of this project include 380 Medical Office Park LLC and SKLG Holdings LLC, per city documents. The approved rezoning request was compatible with the business park designation on the future land use plan.
