The commission approved a site plan for 40 townhomes over 3 acres at a March 24 meeting.
The townhomes will be located on the east side of Dubai Way and north of Frisco Gate Way, according to city documents.
Open space and preliminary site plans, however, were denied by the commission for two restaurant and retail buildings at The Gate on Frisco Green Avenue and John Hickman Parkway.
Reasons for denial include the project failing to meet city standards and ordinances, per city documents.
