The Hyatt Regency Stonebriar, a new hotel attached to Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, is halfway complete. Hotel developer Sam Moon Group and contractor Brasfield & Gorrie celebrated the milestone with a ceremony April 12.

The hotel will feature 18 stories and 303 rooms located between Dillard’s and Nordstrom, according to a March news release from Brasfield & Gorrie. HKS Inc. is the architect, and Looney & Associates will manage the interior design.

Design plans also include a 54,585-square-foot conference center with a grand ballroom, a junior ballroom and breakout spaces. A 3,000-square-foot space will also be dedicated to a city microlibrary. The Hyatt Regency Stonebriar is expected to open in 2020.
