Developers are turning dirt throughout Frisco. Developments include office parks and shopping centers. The following are some development highlights of different commercial projects coming soon.
1. Park West
Construction on the 32-acre Park West has continued. Park West will be a mixed-use development at the southwest corner of Main Street and Legacy Drive. The development will include multifamily homes, single-family homes, retail businesses and restaurants. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018.
2. Starwood Village
Starwood Village is expected to be completed this summer at the southwest corner of Stonebrook Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway. The 52,000-square-foot project will include retail stores, restaurants and entertainment. The development recently signed Monster Mini Golf as a tenant. The 12,000-square-foot mini golf course will have an indoor glow-in-the-dark monster-theme course.
3. Stonebrook retail center
A Stonebrook retail center will break ground this spring and is expected to be finished by spring 2018 on the northwest corner of Stonebrook Parkway and the DNT. The development will include retail, restaurant and office space.
4. Stonebrook Business Park
Stonebrook Business Park broke ground last year. The first phase of the project will be completed by spring 2018. The first phase will include a 90,000-square-foot, three-story Class A office building and a 14,000-square-foot retail building.

6. Emerson Court Phase 2
Construction continues on the second phase to expand the Emerson Court apartments at the northeast corner of Main Street and Legacy Drive. The second phase will have 312 units and will be done by the end of this year.
7. Preston at Wade Crossing
This 13-building, fully finished professional and medical office development at the southwest corner of Preston Road and Wade Boulevard has begun construction. The project totals approximately 67,450 square feet. The first phase of the project is scheduled to be finished this spring. The second phase will be completed this summer, and the third phase will be done by this fall.
