On Thursday, The Star in Frisco announced that 14 new retail tenants will be opening in early 2017 in the development. The new tenants will lease space within the 200,000-square-foot retail block located south of The Ford Center and Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. The new tenants are:
  • Cane Rosso, a Neapolitan-style pizza restaurant;
  • Concrete Cowboy, a full-service restaurant and bar;
  • Cow Tipping Creamery, an ice cream parlor;
  • Donut Kitchen, a breakfast and lunch restaurant serving 30 different kinds of traditional and gourmet doughnuts;
  • East Hampton Sandwich Co., a fine casual restaurant;
  • Howard Wang’s China Grill, an upscale Chinese grill;
  • PlainsCapital Bank, which is also an office tenant in the headquarters building;
  • Raising Canes, a chicken fingers chain;
  • The Common Table, a restaurant serving American dishes and craft brews;
  • The Lincoln Experience Center, a center for customers to learn more about Lincoln Motor Company’s products and services;
  • Trophy Park, a restaurant and bar featuring gaming lounges and bowling lanes;
  • Yucatan Taco Stand, a Latin restaurant serving cuisine from the Yucatan region of Mexico and Central and South America;
  • Zaytinya, a restaurant offering a mezze menu from Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines;
  • and Ziziki’s, a Greek bistro.
Thursday was also the soft opening for Fans United at The Star. The store will sell apparel and souvenirs for the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, FC Dallas, regional colleges and Frisco ISD high schools. With these retailers in addition those announced earlier this year, the first phase of The Star retail space is about 75 percent leased, said Charlotte Jones Anderson, Cowboys executive vice president and chief brand officer. More tenants are expected to be announced in the coming months.
