As of June 17, at least 271 total cases of coronavirus had been confirmed across the four Frisco ZIP codes that fall within Collin and Denton counties, according to each county's public health department.

That is up from 226 total cases in those four ZIP codes as of June 10, health officials reported.

Frisco had 254 total confirmed cases as of June 17, according to the city's website. That is up from the 209 confirmed cases reported on June 9, the city's data showed.

The 75033 ZIP code saw the greatest increase of confirmed cases since June 10 with about a 31% increase.
The number of hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients in Collin County is 131 as of June 17— a 77% increase since June 1, according to the county's public health dashboard. The county has a hospital capacity of 2,702 beds.


In Denton County hospitals on June 17, 15 beds were occupied by COVID-19 patients, according to the county's public health dashboard. This number has remained mostly consistent since the beginning of the month, with the peak number of occupied beds reaching 21 on June 8. Denton County has a hospital bed capacity of 1,101.
On June 16, Frisco had 77 active cases, according to the city's public health dashboard tracking cases of the virus.

Collin County had 451 active cases on June 16, and Denton County had 775 active cases, according to estimates from the state's public health dashboard. Collin County's previous peak for active cases in June was at 432 on June 9 and 10. In Denton County, the previous peak was June 8 with 756 cases.

On June 16, active cases in nearby Tarrant and Dallas counties were around seven times greater than in Collin and Denton counties with active cases ranging between 4,000 and 4,700.
