Amazon announced in September that the company was doing an open search for a site for the company’s second headquarters. Cities had until Oct. 19 to submit proposals. The city of Frisco was among many cities to submit a proposal. Frisco announced its bid for Amazon’s headquarters through a video highlighting some of the city’s strong points.
Amazon is reviewing all 238 proposals it has received. The company has a list of preferences for its headquarters site that it is considering while reviewing the proposals.
Amazon is expected to make a final site selection and announcement in 2018. The company is looking to begin Phase 1 of the project by 2019.
