The Animal Services division of the Frisco Police Department announced a new city resource for returning lost pets to their owners.

The Lost and Found Pet Finder Map is an interactive online map where users can upload the approximate location where a pet was found or went missing along with a picture of the pet itself. Exact locations are not available to protect user privacy.

Once the pet has been officially identified and returned to its owners, the missing or found icon is replaced with a heart on the map.
