Incumbents Shona Huffman and Bill Woodard were re-elected to Frisco City Council, according to Saturday's unofficial election results.
Huffman defeated opponents Mukesh Parna and Jeanne Weisz for the Place 2 seat, and Woodard defeated opponent Stephanie Cleveland for the Place 4 seat.
Both Huffman and Woodard were first elected to Frisco City Council in 2016. This would be their second term in office.
Huffman said her next term will focus on keeping Frisco a top city in terms of public safety, development and job growth.
“[I am] grateful that the citizens of Frisco have found their trust in me once again, and I will not let them down,” she said.
Besides traffic and zoning, Woodard said a goal for his next term is ensuring Frisco can sustain itself through a possible economic downturn.
“From my perspective, the budget is going to come more into focus than it has in the past,” he said. “… I think watching the economy is critical going forward.”
Results are unofficial until canvassed.
