Early voting begins today for the March 25 runoff election following a special election held in February. Candidates Brandon Burden and John Keating are vying for the Place 1 seat on Frisco City Council, which is being vacated by Council Member Bob Allen as he runs for Frisco mayor. The polls will be open at the following times:

• 8 a.m.-5 p.m. March 8-18
• 7 a.m.-7 p.m. March 20-21
• Polls will not be open March 11-12 and 19

The following polling locations will be available during voting:

• Collin College Preston Ridge campus, 9700 Wade Blvd. (Collin County voters)
• Fire Station No. 8, 14700 Rolater Road (Collin County voters)
• Fire Station No. 4, 4485 Cotton Gin Road (Denton County voters)
• Fire Station No. 7, 330 W. Stonebrook Parkway (Denton County voters)
