The Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission will vote on several new proposed developments during its regular meeting Tuesday. One of those developments is an 83.8-acre, mixed-use development on the southwest corner of US 380 and FM 423. The preliminary site plan for the development includes a big-box retail store, 13 retail/restaurant buildings, a neighborhood theater and 740 urban living units. The development is being proposed by Rudman Partnership, one of the developers of Frisco Station along the $5 Billion Mile. The development, pegged the Four Corners Shopping Center, is across from another mixed-use development on the southeast corner of US 380 and FM 423 that includes a Wal-Mart Supercenter. Another proposed development the commission will consider is a 260-unit urban living complex in Frisco Square. The property is between Page Street and Cotton Gin Road east of the Dallas North Tollway. The complex is also planned to include open space. Lastly, the commission will also vote on two proposed hotels within the Frisco Station development. Developers broke ground on Frisco Station on Oct. 18. The 242-acre development will include 137,000 square feet of restaurant and entertainment space, a 600-room hotel campus with four hotels, 29 acres of parks and amenities, 2,400 units of luxury urban living, 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space and a 1 million-square-foot corporate campus. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Click here to see the agenda.
