Throughout 2025, Community Impact spoke with the owners and leadership of business to be featured in our monthly editions. Here's a look back at the nine business featured in Community Impact's Frisco edition in 2025.

1. Dance Vision fosters social, physical skills

A variety of dances are taught at Dance Vision. The top three requested dance styles to learn are country western, Latin and wedding dances. Dance is taught in a three-tier system. Private lessons are followed by group classes then practice parties.2. XP League advances esport game skills, life skills in Frisco

Saurabh Aggarwal and his wife Rupasri Aggarwal opened a franchise of XP League in January 2024. Players are typically onsite for two hours, the first hour is for practice and the second is devoted to competition. The year is broken up into four seasons culminating in the North American finals in the summer.3. Locally owned Three Empires Brewing offers original beer flavors in Frisco

After becoming enamored with the prevalent craft brewing scene while living in Minneapolis, David and Mandy Wible opened Three Empires Brewing in downtown Frisco in 2023. Beer choices always include a variety of ales, IPAs, stouts and seltzers. The alcohol by volume (ABV) ranges from 4-6%.4. Rodgers Dermatology offers medical, cosmetic treatments in Frisco


While attending medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago, Timothy Rodgers said he chose to become a dermatologist because of the variety of patients and treatment options the field offers. Rodgers opened Rodgers Dermatology in Frisco in 2006 followed by a second office in Prosper in spring 2025.5. Heritage Exteriors offers contemporary landscape designs in Frisco

Heritage Exteriors co-owner Karen Wallace said the company’s top three requested services include low maintenance landscapes, irrigation and adding color to the yard. Heritage Exteriors meets those requests and more with a combined effort from Wallace and the other two business owners, Frank Montoya and his daughter Maria Montoya, along with an eight-person crew and carefully curated collection of subcontractors.6. Poparella’s Gourmet Popcorn & Treats offers traditional, custom flavors in Frisco

Poparella’s uses two types of popcorn kernels—Orville Redenbacher and mushroom which, when popped, looks like a round ball. The top three selling popcorn flavors are movie time, buttery original and caramel. Another popular flavor is lemon pound cake.7. Neighborhood Art & Music School fosters creativity in all ages

Neighborhood Art & Music School co-owner Anna Thomas said the school’s mission—to make art accessible, be a creative outlet for self-expression and nurture confidence and passion— has remained unchanged since its founding in 2008. She said this mission applies to students of all ages.8. KidStrong teaches cognitive, physical development in Frisco


KidStrong offers classes for children from early walkers up to 11 years old. Classes, which are 45 minutes long, follow a routine featuring character, cognitive and physical development and are taught by certified KidStrong coaches. Classes always include a social greeting, where kids learn how to introduce themselves, give a firm handshake and make eye contact.9. Striped Box Boutique focuses on size-inclusivity in Frisco

Customers will find women's clothing sizes ranging from small to 3XL. When choosing styles, the business owners have come to understand what their clientele are looking for, and they stay in tune to fashion industry reports.
