Belle Haven Interiors owners Lori Wright and Kelli Simdon said their approach to interior design allows them to cater to every client and each project is customizable for any style.

The background

Wright said she and Simdon worked together at an interior design firm for 12 years before opening Belle Haven Interiors.

“There’s not very many places in Frisco where people can shop accessories to take home with them like art and lighting, that’s different,” Simdon said. “That was our main reason for opening.”

Wright described the style of furnishings Belle Havens offers as “California modern” and said there are no other businesses in North Texas that offers a similar style.

“Our main goal ... is to have everything be livable,” Wright said. “To look like you have that model house, but you can use everything.”

What they offer

Belle Haven Interior offers full residential interior design, Wright said. Their services can be used at any stage of home ownership including either a remodel or a new home.

Additionally, Simdon said they can offer interior design for an entire house or one room. Clients also have the option of phasing out their design.

What’s in a name?

Wright said they wanted a name that wasn’t generic and had special meaning. They decided on Belle Haven because it means "beautiful sanctuary."

“A lot of jobs will take a year or longer and so clients become like family,” Wright said. “We wanted the name to reflect that.”

What’s special about it?

Wright said Belle Haven Interiors is a small business and they are able to prioritize their relationship with clients.

“We’re not a big box store pushing certain things,” Wright said. “We take the time to focus on the relationship and the family.”
