POParella's Gourmet Popcorn is closing temporarily in Frisco for renovations.

The popcorn store will be closed from May 26 to June 1 as it gets new floors, painting on the walls and more. Changes to the kitchen and back areas will include new shelving, lights and plumbing. Owner Gina Johnson said the remodeling will give the store a "1980s rad vibe."
