A new coworking space for Frisco’s entrepreneurs is now open.

Designed with the community’s women-owned businesses in mind, The Suite Space strives to provide a supportive and empowering environment where women can thrive professionally and personally, according to its website.

“What we focus on is collaboration among women-owned businesses in our area,” founder Dynette Davis said.

Also the Frisco ISD board president, Davis said this space is the first of its kind in Frisco.

“We have so many amazing entities that give women an opportunity to collaborate, but we don’t have a space of our own where women can gather,” she said.

While striving to create a space for women, The Suite Space does not discriminate based on gender, Davis said. Anyone who wants to rent a space can, she said.

Available coworking spaces include a large conference room and six private offices—all named for Davis’ mother, aunts and grandmothers—community spaces and a podcast studio.

Tenants can access an in-house notary, weekly networking events, a women-owned business directory and more depending on their membership level.
