A new sports bar is making its way to Frisco in the near year.

Fanzo Sports Bar is slated to open sometime before the end of January, according to an email with a company spokesperson.

Once open, it will serve spice-infused craft cocktails as well as meals, including fried chicken, Jamaican lamb shank stew and bread pudding, according to a news release from the company.

“Sports fans are not a monolith, and we wanted to create a concept that reflected that diversity,” Fanzo Chef Vijay Sadhu said in the news release.

The incoming Frisco sports bar will feature multiple television screens throughout the space, including a 20-foot media video wall behind the bar, according to the news release. A covered outdoor patio space with two additional TVs and lounge space to fit roughly 40 people will also be available.

“Fanzo offers an elegant and lively atmosphere boasting a menu that diverges from the ordinary offerings of a typical sports bar,” Sadhu said. “We knew Frisco would be an ideal place for us to establish ourselves and are excited to be a part of this vibrant community.”
