Mary's Mountain Cookies comes to McKinney with first Texas location

Mary's Mountain Cookies is expected to open in downtown McKinney in mid-August.

The store will sell freshly baked cookies from the Colorado-based shop, known for its soft quarter-pound cookies and other mountain-style treats.

Invene, a health care software development company, has moved its headquarters to McKinney from its current location at The University of Texas at Dallas, Venture Development Center.

The newly opened Rockbox Fitness gym, located at 1141 Flower Mound Road, Ste. 600, Flower Mound, opened July 20. It offers boxing, kickboxing and functional training for its members.

The Birch Racquet and Lawn Club open for outdoor use in Keller

According to staff, the club’s indoor facility, which will feature multiple courts and a cafe, is expected to open near the end of August.
