The city of Frisco’s government offices will be closed in observance of the July 4 holiday and the Frisco Freedom Fest event, according to a city news release. Normal hours will resume July 5.

The following offices and locations will close or have altered hours July 4:

  • City Hall and other administrative offices: closed

  • Frisco Public Library: closed. Drive-thru book return will from July 3 at 6 p.m. until July 5 at 5 a.m.

  • Frisco Fire Safety Town and Central Fire Administration: closed

  • Frisco Heritage Museum: closed

  • Frisco Discovery Center: closed

  • Frisco Municipal Court: closed

  • Senior Center at Frisco Square: closed

  • Environmental Services offices and the Environmental Collection Center: closed


Frisco Athletic Center’s general facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Fun Club & Zone will be open from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and Frisco Water Park will be open from 12 p.m to 7 p.m. PlayFrisco.org will have modified pool hours and group exercise times.

Trash collection and curbside recycling will be delayed one day. If the usual trash service is on Thursdays, trash will be collected July 5, and if the usual trash service is Friday, refuse will be collected July 6. Services will be resume a normal schedule July 8.
