Reform & Ride owner and instructor Beverly Seitzinger has worked in the fitness industry since 1995. She has worked in all kinds of facilities from big-box gyms to boutique gyms. In 2016, she decided to open a small fitness studio to offer a variety of fitness opportunities in a personalized setting.

“I wanted to address all the issues because there’s too many fads in the industry,” Seitzinger said. “It’s all about what the latest fad is this week. One week it’s all about spinning or CrossFit. But I believe in fitness for the long term and as a lifestyle.”

At Reform & Ride, Seitzinger said the studio works with individuals at their current fitness levels and moves forward with a workout plan that works best for them.

“We cater to the individuals that are looking for a more personalized experience,” she said.

Seitzinger said one of the problems with exercise today is that someone can continue to do one form of exercise for a long period of time but may not benefit from that work.

At Reform & Ride, a cycling class can have a maximum of 15 individuals, a group fitness class can have a maximum of 10 individuals, and Pilates class has a maximum of six.

“It’s almost like a small group training, but you still get that encouragement,” Seitzinger said. “Getting more personal attention helps make sure that the individual is using the correct form and the correct technique in their exercise and that they’re not overdoing it.”

The studio is located in the Stonebriar Commons retail center on Legacy Drive. The studio offers a variety of classes that work out the entire body. Classes include stretch and balance, Pilates, yoga strength and a CrossCore class that focuses on a body weight workout.

“It’s a very customized experience, and you can’t get that if there’s 30 or 40 people in a class,” Seitzinger said. “Our studio is for somebody who wants guidance every time they work out, and they’re going to get that attention whether it’s in a class or in a private session.”
