Family entertainment brand Launch Entertainment is expanding into North Texas with locations expected to open in Frisco, McKinney and Prosper.

The gist

Zion Capital Management President Hemanth Kumar and his partners are in the process of determining locations for each venue, he said. The Frisco location is expected to open in 2024, while the Prosper and McKinney locations are expected to open by 2025.

Launch Entertainment was founded in 2012 and started as a trampoline park and small arcade. The brand has since evolved its parks into a full-service entertainment destination. Its parks offer a variety of attractions, including bowling alleys, ninja courses, rock walls, laser tag and more.

“What made Launch pop for us—it’s the holistic experience; they bring for their families right there,” Kumar said. “They have something for everybody right there.”

The details

Kumar and local partners Eesha Kumar, Karthik Krishnamoorthy and Daiva Polimetla are leading the investment group behind bringing the brand to North Texas, according to a news release. They've started meeting with the brand’s marketing, design and construction teams to build the parks, Kumar said.

“I’m excited to see how the whole design is going to come out because we want to make sure we build a unique park that’s safe, reliable, and a space that's going to be loved and cherished by all people,” he said.

Launch Entertainment has 28 locations across 14 states, according to the news release. Site selection is also underway for potential venues in Lewisville and Houston.
