Frisco Food Truck and Music Festival
The StrEATS Food Truck & Music Festival will feature live music, craft beer and several food trucks from around the Metroplex. The event is Texas' longest-running food truck festival.
Formerly called the Roanoke Roundup, the community event features food, live music and a concert. A live voice competition will be from 1-4 p.m., the BBQ Pitmasters Tasting Competition will take place from noon-5 p.m. and there will be a steak cook-off from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Infinite Journey, a Journey cover band, will perform at 7:45 p.m.
Make a mug at an introductory clay pottery workshop at Wildflower Art Studio in Denton. Guests can pick up their mugs two weeks after the event. Snacks and supplies will be provided.
At this signature event at Hotel Vin Grapevine, guests can sip 10 of the more than 25 rosés and rosé cocktails, listen to a live DJ and post photos during the event. Collect a stamp for each of the 10 samples and turn in for a chance to win a weekend stay at Hotel Vin.
The NASCAR Cup Series makes its second stop in Texas this year when it comes to Fort Worth and Texas Motor Speedway. Chris Janson will do a pre-race concert, 101-year-old World War II veteran Don Graves will sing the national anthem and Dallas Mavericks star Cooper Flagg will drive the honorary pace car.
