Argyle Town Hall will remain closed until at least Feb. 2 due to the winter storm sitting over Denton County, per the town's official website.

Officials are hoping to reopen town hall at noon Feb. 2.

Icy road conditions have forced most city services within the county to remain shut down since Jan. 30, when the winter storm arrived in Texas. As of Feb. 1, ice and snow have been reported as far south as San Antonio.

Argyle's monthly meeting of the planning and zoning commission has also been canceled, per the town website. A makeup date has not yet been announced.
