Several asphalt overlay projects are substantially completed in Highland Village, according to a news release.

The project reached its final stages in late March, per the news release, with only cleanup and punch list items remaining.

The details

Work crews for the project’s contractor, Jagoe-Public Company, applied asphalt overlays to the following areas:
  • Remington Terrace
  • Village Tree Drive
  • Orchid Hill Lane
  • RV circle at Pilot Knoll Park
The project’s cost totaled $397,915 and was awarded to Jagoe-Public Company, and construction began in early January, according to previous Community Impact reporting. Some repaving was also required, but all of the affected areas are also substantially complete, per the news release.

Funding for the project came from the city’s general fund, according to city documents. A contract with Jagoe-Public Company was originally approved in September 2024.
