New Life Baptist Church held its first service Dec. 3.

Lee Davis is the pastor of New Life Baptist Church. He said in an email he has fallen in love with the area.

“The reason that we picked this location is the Lord started laying the Denton County area on my heart,” Davis said. “We prayed, we looked, we prayed some more, and this is where God led us. We are so excited to see what the Lord is going to do with New Life Baptist Church and Highland Village.”
