Several city offices and facilities in Flower Mound, Highland Village and Argyle will be closed for the Fourth of July.

Flower Mound

Because of the holiday, Flower Mound trash, recycling and bulky material collections normally scheduled July 4 will be pushed to July 5, according to a town news release.

Per the news release, several town facilities will be closed July 4, including:
  • Flower Mound Town Hall
  • Flower Mound Municipal Court
  • Flower Mound Animal Services
  • The Flower Mound Senior Center
  • The Gibson-Grant Log House
  • The Flower Mound Public Library
The Community Activity Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 4 and resume normal hours July 5.


Highland Village

Highland Village offices will be closed Friday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday, per the city’s website.

Recreation Coordinator Deborah Scott said the Robert and Lee DuVall Center will be closed, but the splash pad at Doubletree Ranch Park will remain open.

Garbage and recycling pickup will not be affected.


Argyle

Argyle Town Hall will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Waste collection will not be affected July 4.
