Residents in Flower Mound have another week to voice their opinions about their town in a survey from the town.
What’s happening?
People can take Flower Mound’s 2023 Resident Survey online, according to a town news release. Residents have until July 20 to offer their feedback by visiting https://polco.us/flowermound23op.
Information from the survey is used to determine resident satisfaction in several areas while helping to understand where improvements in service need to be made, the release states.
A closer look
In the survey, residents will be asked to rank the town and their neighborhood as far as a place to live. They also will be able to evaluate Flower Mound as a place to work, retire and raise children. They also can rate the town for its quality of life, sense of community and as a place to visit.
Some other areas in the survey include the quality and variety of business and service establishments; the quality of parks and recreation opportunities; safety; the transportation system; and utility infrastructure, such as water, sewer, storm water, electric/gas and broadband.
Also of note
Town officials said the online survey directly corresponds with the resident survey that was previously mailed to a “scientific sampling” of residents in June, the release states. For those people who were randomly selected to participate in the mail-in survey, they can access the survey using the link provided in the mailed materials. Residents who received the mail-in survey do not need to participate in the online survey as well. Results from both mail-in and online surveys will be posted when the data are available.
