Country singer-songwriter Pat Green will headline Flower Mound’s Independence Fest 2024, to be held July 4 at multiple parks in town. The event is free to attend.

Events kick off that morning with the annual Children’s Parade to Leonard and Helen Johns Park, located at 1850 Timber Creek Road, where there will be kids activities, face painting, and food and drinks provided by Market Street, according to a town news release. Afterward, events continue at Bakersfield Park, located at 1201 Duncan Lane, with live entertainment on the main stage, food trucks, vendor booths, a car show, a kids zone and fireworks presented by JSK Operations Management Inc.

The background

Green, a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who hails from San Antonio, is making a return engagement at Independence Fest. Green first played at Independence Fest in 2018.


Green has sold more than 2 million records and has a string of top 10 hits on the Billboard Country Radio chart, the release states.

She said Hilltop Truck Park has applied for the necessary permits and has provided the town with the necessary insurance documentation required to sponsor a public display on July 6.
  • Bartonville: No fireworks show is planned, and fireworks are prohibited in town.
