Flower Mound officials are calling all artists to the 2024 Arts Festival at Heritage Park.

The background

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11 at the park, located at 600 Spinks Road. The event will feature art vendors, live performances, food trucks and more, according to a news release. Attendees may also create art at the festival.

Last year's event was moved from May to September because of impending bad weather in May.

Zooming in

This year, the festival will once again include a community art project, and this year's project, “The Door Project,” will feature four doors, each designed by a different local artist. The artists include Beth Dilley, Rebecca J. Jones, Anna Mikhaela Reyes and Steve Falkenburg. The back of the doors will be left blank to allow festival patrons to contribute their own designs, the release stated.
