Argyle residents needing to throw out an old television or other household items can do so at the ​​town's bulk waste drop-off event from 8:30-11 a.m. Sept. 23 at Town Hall.

Town Hall officials will have dumpsters available to accept trash and debris, according to a news release. On-site document destruction will also be provided.

People may drop off:
  • Electronics: TVs, computers, stereos
  • White goods: water heaters, washers, dryers, freezers with freon removed
  • Tires: car or light truck tires, up to four
These items will not be accepted at the event:
  • Commercial HHW or electronics
  • Radioactive compounds
  • Smoke detectors
  • Ammunition
  • Explosives
  • Asbestos
  • PCBs
  • Pharmaceuticals or controlled substances
  • Biological or infectious waste
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Leaking or unidentified containers
