Argyle ISD provided updates on the construction of a new stadium and indoor activity center as part of the 2022 bond projects during a special meeting Oct. 2.

President of VLK Architects Marty Sims and Argyle ISD Construction Manager Jeff Cohen presented four design options for consideration by the board of trustees.

Background

The 2022 bond and all of its proposals were approved by voters May 7, 2022. The bond's total cost was estimated to be nearly $267.89 million and consisted of three propositions:
  • Proposition A: the construction of a middle school and an elementary school
  • Proposition B: the construction of a stadium at Argyle High School
  • Proposition C: the construction of an indoor activity center at Argyle High School
The three proposals are all part of the district's 10-year Strategic Growth Plan to address increasing enrollment.
