How we got here
Former Argyle ISD Superintendent Telena Wright retired after the 2022-23 school, with June 30 being her last day. She had served as the district superintendent from 2009 and had been with the district since 2000.
The details
Carpenter has 25 years of experience in public education, and before her two years in Carroll ISD, she was at Midlothian ISD for six years as a campus principal before being promoted to director of instructional support, executive director of innovation and learning and chief administrative officer, according to an Argyle ISD news release.
