Rock Pepper Fire Fusion Kitchen & Bar

The restaurant is independently owned by husband-wife team Dan and Niha Shah, who said their goal is to bring new flavors to the community with fusion food from different cultures.

The Rock Pepper Fire’s menu includes chicken and beef sliders, tacos, wagyu burgers, fried rice and more. The restaurant is open until midnight on the weekends. It has takeout, pick-up and delivery options on the website.Gong Cha


The international chain offers a variety of beverages, including milk tea, tea lattes and coffee, according to its website.

Dragon House

Initially planning to open in August, the restaurant will offer hand-made dumplings and hand-pulled noodles. The menu includes soups, rice and noodle dishes and more.


Dragon House is next to AMC Theater in The Shops at Highland Village. According to the company's website, there is also a location in Southlake.Donatos Pizza

Coppell residents, Ralph and Lynne Pence are scheduled to open one of the first Donatos franchises in Texas.

The restaurant serves pizza that features smoked provolone cheese among other key ingredients.

Dumont Creamery & Cafe

Dumont Creamery & Cafe is headed to Northlake and is expected to open in March 2025, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The more than 228,000-square-foot property will cost about $200,000 to construct, per the filing.


The new ice cream shop will offer Indian and American flavors of ice cream, as well as coffee, milkshakes, pastries and boba tea.
