Whiskey & Smoke, located at 4120 River Walk Drive, Flower Mound, serves barbecue dishes. The dining room is under construction, said Paula Retz, marketing coordinator for the restaurant.
“Although we don’t have an exact date for the dining room opening, we are aiming for three weeks,” she said in an email response to questions July 12. “Even with the dining room closed, we have opened the bar, and customers can grab a drink while they wait for their orders. We also encourage customers to hang out on the patio and eat/drink if they would like. We just don’t have table service at this time.”
Whiskey & Smoke features 100% Texas wagyu beef brisket, St. Louis-style ribs glazed with the restaurant’s signature bourbon barbecue sauce, chicken, turkey, pulled pork and sausage, Retz said.
“All our rubs, sauces, sides and banana pudding are housemade,” she said. “Specialty cocktails and a complete collection of bourbons rounds out the full flavor menu. ... We will be expanding our menu selection when the dining room opens.”
When the dining room opens, hours will adjust:
- Monday: closed
- Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday: 3-10 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 3-11 p.m.
- Monday: closed
- Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday: 3-8 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 3-10 p.m.
