What happened?
Irving-based Realty Capital finalized an agreement with Marriott International to develop an Autograph Collection Hotel and Residences building as part of Lakeside Village’s final construction phase. The $230 million project, which is slated to break ground in the second quarter of 2025, includes the hotel and a six-story office building.
Guests staying at the luxury resort will have access to lakefront restaurants, hike and bike trails, two golf courses, an amphitheater, and more, Realty Capital Managing Director Jimmy Archie said in a statement.
“This hotel will be unlike any other in Dallas-Fort Worth,” Archie said in a statement.
The new development joins multiple projects already under construction at Lakeside Village, including 55 single-family villas and a 16-story multifamily building. Lakeside Village is 75% built out with projects under construction in the development's final 40 acres.

The Autograph Collection Hotel will feature 12 floors with 181 guest rooms and suites, according to the news release. The hotel will also have 21 condominium residences on the top three floors of the building. Hotel amenities will include:
- A rooftop pool and terrace
- A spa
- A full-service restaurant and bar
- Ballrooms
- A fitness center
- A private yacht for guest excursions
- A lakefront wedding chapel
- An outdoor ampitheater
Quote of note
Marriott International is proud to collaborate with Realty Capital and Coury Hospitality on the project, said Paul Loehr, a senior vice president of development for Marriott International, in a statement.
“With the property’s incredible views and unbeatable location in Dallas-Fort Worth, we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunities the property will offer both guests and prospective homebuyers,” he said.
Also of note
Development will also break ground on a 155,000-square-foot, Class AA office building named 3301 Sunset Boulevard. The six-story building will include a private social club, called Eden Roc, on the second floor and two levels of underground parking, according to the news release.
The hotel and office building will be connected on the first and second floors for convenient access to shared amenities, such as the spa, bar and restaurant.
The town of Flower Mound approved incentive agreements for the hotel and office project. Jones Lang Lasalle, a brokerage firm, will assist in leasing and obtaining financing for both buildings.
