Argyle Pediatric Dentistry

The dental office provides a selection of services, including X-rays, teeth cleanings, sealants and cavity fillings, said Dr. Vishal Panchmatia, the owner and a board certified pediatric dentist. The practice provides treatments for patients from birth until they are 18 years old, Dr. Panchmatia added.

TBK-The Bees Knees relocated in Argyle and tripled its space, owner Aimee Buckert said.


The Bees Knees offers unique apparel for women, changing out the theme so that shoppers see something different when they come in, Buckert said. The business also sells jewelry, handbags and gifts for women.

The shop held a ribbon cutting May 2 to celebrate, Buckert said. The Bees Knees was previously located in suite 203 before moving to suite 102.

Maya Creamery & Lounge


Maya Creamery & Lounge serves hand-rolled ice cream available in several signature and Indian-inspired flavors, along with a selection of toppings. The menu also includes faloodas, an Indian dessert, crepes, macarons, fruit fusion tea and bubble tea, owner Ramya Sampath said.

The business operates other North Texas locations, including in McKinney and Frisco.

Gracie Barra

Construction to renovate a space to accommodate martial arts studio Gracie Barra in Highland Village is set to begin in early June, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.


No structural changes are planned for the building, per the filing, but renovations will include finishes, lighting and layout changes. The estimated cost of construction is $70,000 and work is expected to last through late July.

Gracie Barra teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu and self-defense classes for children and adults, according to its website.Closings

Plaid Fox

Plaid Fox permanently closed its brick and mortar shop in Flower Mound but may still offer resale clothes online, according to the business' website.


The shop sold men and women's fashion with selections changing every week.

Individuals could rent a rack at the boutique and take home the sales made from the clothes sold, Community Impact previously reported.

The shop opened Feb. 15.
