Renovations are coming soon at the Walmart in Highland Village.

A project has been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for renovation of the location off Justin Road. Construction is set to begin July 15 and complete Nov. 4 at an estimated cost of $1.5 million. According to the filing, the work will include replacing skids, bunker islands, reach-in ice cream cases, frozen food cases, seafood cases, frozen cake cases, bakery and grocery freezer walk-ins and more.
