Seeden Photography in Argyle has expanded its space to meet demand.

"We saw a need, and we knew we could help," Seeden Photography co-owner Lynn Seeden said in an email.

That need was business meeting space, and owners Lynn and Curt Seeden opened Seeden Club on Jan. 1. The Seedens expanded their business to two office suites and redecorated their 1,300-square-foot studio to dually work as a meeting space. The Seedens spread out their photography operations to the adjoining suite. The original Seeden Photography began 25 years ago, but the Seedens opened their current studio in October 2021. Lynn Seeden has owned photography studios for more than 30 years, but this is her first rental meeting space.

The Seeden Club meeting room includes new tables, banquet chairs and large TV monitors, the Seedens said, and businesses may rent it for their board meetings, strategic planning retreats, workshops and lunch gatherings.

The vision of this expansion was to create a business club that offers workshops, classes, networking gatherings, lunches, connection opportunities and meeting space, somewhat along the idea of a para-chamber of commerce, the Seedens said. Pairing it with Seeden Photography's headshots studio would give an additional business service, they said.

The business-themed meeting rental space can hold up to 25 people in a classroom setup or up to 30 people for a networking group. Tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, TV monitors and room setup are included in the rental fee.
