From pumpkin patches to movies in the park, check out these 11 Denton events this October and early November.

1. Pumpkin Patch at Trinity
Trinity United Methodist Church will open its grounds for a fall pumpkin patch, offering photo opportunities and pumpkins for purchase in a range of sizes. Visitors may browse and take photos even without buying a pumpkin. A Trunk or Treat celebration is also planned for Oct. 24 from 5-7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the church's youth, children's and music ministries.

2. Movies in the Park: Fall Series
Quakertown Civic Center will host four outdoor movie nights on its lawn, each with preshow lawn games, trivia and food trucks ahead of the film. The fall lineup includes a "Goosebumps" double feature, "The Haunted Mansion" and a "Monster House" and "Poltergeist" double feature.

3. Atomic Bingo Bash
Serve Denton will host its annual fall fundraiser featuring bingo games, prizes, snacks, drinks, live music and a costume contest. Proceeds support the nonprofit's work partnering with local organizations to assist people in need throughout the community.
4. The Addams Family Musical
Campus Theatre will stage a musical comedy adaptation of "The Addams Family," following Gomez, Morticia and their eccentric relatives through a night of humor and mischief.

5. Denton Vintage Market’s Fall Market
Vendors will sell handmade items including baked goods, wreaths, jewelry, home decor, woodworking, crochet and holiday items, along with beverages and face painting. The market gives shoppers a chance to support local sellers while browsing and enjoying the outdoor setting.

6. The Grinch Movie Night and Meet and Greet
East Side Denton will screen "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" on its outdoor jumbotron while a costumed Grinch character mingles with guests. The event will have food truck fare and drink specials.

7. Haunted House + Monster Mash Kids Market
Children will run their own booths selling handmade goods at this evening market, giving young entrepreneurs a chance to earn money and build business skills in a Halloween-themed setting.

8. Queenie's Day of the Dead Festival
Queenie's, with Weber Ranch, will host a Day of the Dead celebration featuring food, cocktails, live music, face painting and a raffle. The event coincides with the coffin races taking place nearby and will include spit-roast menu items and a magic performance on the Weber Ranch stage.
9. Cirque du Horror
The Big Top Tent will host Cirque du Horror, a family friendly, Halloween-themed musical blending live music, circus acts and theatrical comedy.

November
10. Dino Stomp Story Time
Emily Fowler Library will host a dinosaur-themed story time with songs and dances, followed by an appearance from Rex, the library's resident Tyrannosaurus Rex mascot. The program is geared toward children ages 1-5 and their caregivers. Because seating is limited, tickets are required and will be distributed at the service desk 30 minutes before the event begins.
11. Fall Creative Retreat
Wildflower Art Studio will host a day-long retreat centered on iridescent watercolor techniques, beeswax candle-making and autumn-themed watercolor landscapes. The day includes a catered lunch, welcome mimosas, coffee and tea, with a take-home supply kit available for purchase. Space is limited, and organizers are keeping a waitlist once the event sells out.
